A Miso Music Portugal é uma organização privada sem fins lucrativos dedicada à promoção, desenvolvimento e divulgação da música contemporânea — portuguesa e internacional. Fundada nos anos 1980 pelos compositores Miguel Azguime e Paula Azguime, a organização tem desenvolvido um trabalho contínuo e multifacetado em prol da criação musical do nosso tempo.

Apoio ativo à criação, produção e divulgação da música contemporânea, incluindo encomendas regulares de novas obras a compositores vivos, para ensemble, para orquestra, para solos, e de música eletroacústica

Valorização e projeção da obra dos compositores portugueses, tanto a nível nacional como internacional, contribuindo para a afirmação da criação musical em Portugal.

FESTIVAIS E CONCERTOS
Organização e apresentação de festivais, concertos, workshops e outros eventos que colocam em destaque a música contemporânea e a arte sonora.

EDUCAÇÃO E SENSIBILIZAÇÃO
Desenvolvimento de atividades pedagógicas e de sensibilização dirigidas ao público em geral e, em especial, às gerações mais jovens, promovendo o contacto com a música contemporânea.

INVESTIGAÇÃO E DESENVOLVIMENTO
Investimento na pesquisa e no desenvolvimento de novas tecnologias e ferramentas musicais, com especial enfoque na criação eletroacústica e nas interfaces de performance.
